Western Prairie Senior Living is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Kansas. You will work under the Director of Nursing to provide care per individualized care plans, coordinate with physicians, patients, and families, and ensure high-quality clinical documentation and compliance with health and safety regulations.

The role emphasizes patient education, progress updates, and strict adherence to Kansas and federal standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with active license.
• Experience providing care per care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients per their care plans, may involve conferences with physician, patient, family and staff.
• Communicate with patient and family about education and progress.
• Review and maintain all clinical records required for patient care and progress.
• Monitor compliance to Kansas and federal requirements including bloodborne pathogens, hazardous materials, infection control, and fire safety.

As an RN, you will work under the general supervision of the communities Director of Nursing to:

• Provide a provision of care to patients in accordance with their care plans. May require conferences with physician, patient, family members and other staff involved with patient’s care.
• Communicate with patient and family regarding education and progress of patient.
• Review and maintain all clinical records, which are required for patient’s care and progress.
• Review weekly reports to monitor personal and staff compliance to all Kansas and Federal requirements including blood borne pathogens, hazardous materials, infection control, and fire safety
