Tenet Physician Resources in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide patient triage and education, assist physicians during office hours, and follow up on prescriptions, procedures, and tests.

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to the mission, purpose, philosophy, policies, and procedures of Tenet Physician Resources.
  • Maintains compliance with the Tenet HIPAA Compliance Plan, Privacy Standards, and Corporate Code of Conduct.
  • Assists in assessing patient needs by recording vital signs, history, medications, and chief complaints for physician review.
  • Performs diagnostic tests and prepares equipment for medical treatments, exams, and procedures as directed.
  • Collects and prepares lab specimens for transport, including completion of necessary forms and computer entry.
  • Administrates prescribed oral medications and provides intramuscular and subcutaneous injections.
  • Triages patients to identify emergencies, providing immediate support and notifying providers of urgent medical needs.
  • Facilitates patient education, teaching, and the development of care protocols and instructional materials.
  • Compiles and analyzes medical and operational data to prepare reports for outcomes and program efficacy.
  • Ensures accurate data entry into Electronic Health Records and reviews treatment forms to maximize reimbursement.
