Regency at Troy in Troy, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver and supervise resident care on assigned shifts. This on-site role requires supervising LPNs, CNAs, and other staff, with duties spanning care planning, assignments, and safety compliance.

A sign-on bonus of USD 15,000 and a night-shift differential accompany a comprehensive benefits package. Minimum 1–2 years of long-term or sub-acute nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute preferred.
• Current state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Current CPR certification or CPR certification within 90 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Supervises LPNs, CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed
• Completes performance evaluations and provides input on hiring, disciplining, or terminating staff
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns
• Oversee unit operations during absence of higher-level management
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws

Shift Differential for night shift

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing, overseeing, and coordinating the delivery of resident care during assigned shifts in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the facility. The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating resident care plans while ensuring the highest degree of quality care and safety. The RN supervises and supports licensed practical nurses (LPNs), certified nursing assistants (CNAs), and other team members to ensure continuity of care and serves as a key resource for residents, families, and staff.
