Job Summary

As an RN at Riverdale Healthcare Center, you will ensure our residents receive the care they need, utilizing your skills to provide high-quality healthcare. Your efforts will make a meaningful difference in our residents' lives and foster a compassionate environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct resident assessments and coordinate care
• Supervise nursing staff and ensure adherence to guidelines
• Develop individualized care plans
• Assist physicians and communicate effectively during rounds
• Train and supervise nursing personnel
• Manage conflicts and handle emergencies calmly
• Prepare daily duties and treatments
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Participate in meetings and training
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Notify physicians and families of significant health changes
• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents

Additional Responsibilities

• Engage with residents, families, visitors, and staff
• Work rotating shifts, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed
• Follow hygiene and dress code standards
• Provide annual TB skin test verification

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of practice
• Graduate of an approved nursing program
• Current physical assessment skills and nursing knowledge
• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing and supervisory roles is preferred
