Job Summary
As an RN at Riverdale Healthcare Center, you will ensure our residents receive the care they need, utilizing your skills to provide high-quality healthcare. Your efforts will make a meaningful difference in our residents' lives and foster a compassionate environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct resident assessments and coordinate care
- Supervise nursing staff and ensure adherence to guidelines
- Develop individualized care plans
- Assist physicians and communicate effectively during rounds
- Train and supervise nursing personnel
- Manage conflicts and handle emergencies calmly
- Prepare daily duties and treatments
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Participate in meetings and training
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Notify physicians and families of significant health changes
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents
Additional Responsibilities
- Engage with residents, families, visitors, and staff
- Work rotating shifts, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed
- Follow hygiene and dress code standards
- Provide annual TB skin test verification
Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Graduate of an approved nursing program
- Current physical assessment skills and nursing knowledge
- Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing and supervisory roles is preferred
