Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans and physician orders.

• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.

• Monitor residents' conditions, identify changes in health status, and communicate concerns to the appropriate medical professionals.

• Perform nursing assessments and ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Supervise and support nursing assistants and other clinical staff.

• Coordinate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.

• Respond to emergencies and implement appropriate nursing interventions.

• Ensure compliance with facility policies, infection control practices, and applicable state and federal regulations.

• Promote residents' dignity, safety, comfort, and overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
