Job summary

Fairview Hospital / Cleveland Clinic in Topeka, KS is seeking a full-time, day-shift Surgery (OR) Registered Nurse to provide safe, coordinated patient care across diverse populations. You will assess needs, develop care plans, delegate tasks, and ensure compliance with the Kansas Nurse Practice Act while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Strong telemetry/ICU/PCU or chemo experience and Kansas RN licensure are required; BLS within 14 days and additional certifications within one year

Qualifications

• Current Kansas RN licensure.
• BLS certification (obtained within 14 days).
• Additional certifications required within one year.
• Experience in telemetry, ICU, PCU, or chemo preferred.
• A 2-year degree is required.
• A 4-year degree and recent healthcare experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and family needs, develop and prioritize care plans, evaluate care delivery, and revise plans to address biological, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual, developmental, and educational needs.
• Delegates care appropriately to optimize outcomes and ensures adherence to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
