Job summary

Aviata at Tallahassee Gardens is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our caring team in Tallahassee, FL. The role supports resident care, supervises staff, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams on a 7p-7a night shift.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active state RN license to practice.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation facilities preferred.
• Qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to delivering high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff and oversees patient care in accordance with standards and regulations.
• Coordinates resident care with facility personnel while following policies and procedures.
• Supervises CNAs during shifts, assigns tasks, and ensures adherence to standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Major Responsibilities - Registered Nurse

• Supervises staff and oversees patient care in accordance with standards of care and practice and applicable state/federal regulations.
• Follows established facility policies and procedures while providing and coordinating resident care with other facility personnel.
• Supervises Certified Nursing Assistants during shift including assigning and distributing work, performance management, training new staff, and ensuring work is being performed according to facility standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications- Registered Nurse

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an RN.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation facilities preferred.
• You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
