Job summary

West Gables Healthcare Center in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time role. You will deliver skilled clinical care, monitor residents, and ensure care plans are followed with precision and compassion.

Applicants must hold an active FL RN license and BLS. Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills are essential for success in a fast-paced nursing team with a resident-centered approach.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care in accordance with accepted nursing standards and physician plans.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments as per the plan of care.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes promptly to the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with orders and policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance.

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).
• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of FL.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
