Westmoreland Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver skilled clinical care, monitor residents, and uphold individualized care plans in a 66-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care facility that emphasizes compassion and quality.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in VA.
• Valid BLS CPR certification.
• Ability to manage multiple residents in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care per established standards and written care plans.
• Follow and implement care plans created by the Nurse Manager.
• Administer medications and treatments as per plan of care.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes promptly.

Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering skilled clinical care, monitoring resident conditions, and ensuring all care is provided in accordance with established standards and individualized care plans.

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN)

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).
• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN)

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of va.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
