Job summary

Venetian Care & Rehabilitation is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver skilled nursing care at our 180-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care facility. The role emphasizes compassionate, resident-centered care with adherence to individualized care plans and regulatory standards.

Per Diem opportunities are available for all shifts; compensation ranges from $38-47 per hour, with daily pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered active RN license in NJ.
• BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care in accordance with nursing practice standards and the written plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments per the plan of care.
• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions and report changes promptly.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in line with physician orders and facility policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated resident care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.

• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.

• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).

• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.

• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
