Job summary

Highland Place Rehab & Nursing in Shreveport, LA, is seeking a registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide quality nursing care in the assigned unit, with 12-hour shifts and flexible scheduling.

The role requires current state licensure, a minimum of 1 year of related experience, good standing, and adherence to regulations; offers benefits, PTO, and opportunities for overtime and 401K.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN/LVn licensure required.
• Minimum 1 year related experience or equivalent education.
• Good standing in the state registry required.

Responsibilities

• Provide total nursing care for residents during the shift.
• Explain procedures and care plans to residents.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Transcribe physician's orders.
• Assume responsibility for compliance with regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Summary:Organizes and directs assigned unit duties to provide quality nursing care to residents.

Job Type:Full time / Part time / PRN

Schedule: 12 hour shifts. Including PRN.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible during the shift for the total nursing care of residents in the assigned unit.
• Assumes responsibility for compliance with Federal, State, Local, and company regulations.
• Explains procedures and treatments and care plan to resident.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
• Transcribes physician's orders.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Educations:

Current State of Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN / LVN) licensure.

A minimum of 1 year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Good standing in the state registry is required.
