Job summary

Newport Healthcare is seeking Registered Nurses to provide on-site nursing and attendant care for adolescents and young adults in treatment settings. Responsibilities include health screenings, direct nursing care, medication administration, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate holds a current RN license in the applying state, with preferred experience in residential nursing. Strong decision-making, compassion, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to multitask

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site nursing and attendant care to adolescents/young adults.

• Evaluate medical concerns and relay information to NP/MD during on-site hours.
• Administer medications and manage refills.
• Adhere to policies and procedures (OSHA, HIPAA, regulations).

What You’ll Do

Registered Nurses at Newport Healthcare provide on-site nursing and attendant care to adolescents and/or young adults in our treatment. Key responsibilities include:

• Completing client health screenings and providing direct care and nursing services as needed, including monitoring any chronic health conditions
• Evaluating medical complaints and concerns from residents during on-site hours and relaying information to the appropriate NP/MD
• Serving as a vital part of your patients' multidisciplinary treatment teams
• Administering medications and ordering medication refills
• Complying with all policies and procedures, e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, medical protocols, infection control, and local, state, and federal regulations

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse License in state where you are applying (required)
• Experience in residential nursing (preferred, not required)
