Job summary

Chestnut Woods Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time and PRN opportunities. Daily Pay is available, with up to $3.80 shift differential and a $5 pay in lieu of benefits for full-time staff.

The RN will deliver skilled clinical care, monitor resident conditions, and follow individualized care plans in a supportive, recovery-focused setting. Qualified candidates hold an active MA RN license and BLS CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Ability to manage multiple residents in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care per standards and care plans.
• Follow care plans by Nurse Manager.
• Administer medications and treatments per POC.
• Monitor residents and report changes.
• Maintain accurate documentation per orders and policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance.

Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering skilled clinical care, monitoring resident conditions, and ensuring all care is provided in accordance with established standards and individualized care plans.

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).
• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of Massachusetts.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
