Job summary

Sandy Springs Center for Nursing and Healing seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to care for patients and support their speedy recovery. The RN educates patients and families on prevention and healthy habits, and follows health and safety guidelines to promote well-being.

The ideal candidate is responsible, well-trained, and able to work with little supervision. We offer flexible schedules, health, dental and vision insurance, 401K, PTO, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time employees.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient’s condition and assess needs to provide the best possible care and advice
• Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
• Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts; adjust and administer patient’s medications per orders
• Inspect the facilities and maintain hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds)
• Provide instant medical care in emergencies
• Supervise and train LPNs and nursing assistants
• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and families
• Expand knowledge by attending educational workshops and conferences

The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained Registered Nurse who is able to give the best nursing care with little supervision. The RN will be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently. The goal is to promote patient’s well-being by providing high quality nursing care.
