Job summary

Eckerd Connects is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our health team in St. Petersburg, FL. The RN will provide medical care and treatment for students, record vitals, assist with physicals, and administer medications as part of a salaried, exempt position.

Florida RN license required with an active, unrestricted status. Preference for 2+ years of experience. Valid driver’s license preferred; drug screen and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Florida State Registered Nurse License and one year's experience as a practicing Registered Nurse.
• Active, unrestricted license in Florida.
• Prefer two or more years of experience.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse reports to the Health and Wellness Manager (RN) and is a salaried, exempt position.
• Assists in the medical care and treatment of students.
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration rates, dresses wounds and assist with student physicals.
• Administers specified medication and annotates time and amount on patient's chart.
• Assembles, sterilizes and uses various medical equipment and supplies
• Maintains charts for trainees seen by medical personnel.

Salary Rate: $70,000 - $73,400

Duties and Responsibilities

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred.
• Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.
