Job summary

Arden Ridge Health and Rehab seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on the 7p-7a shift, every other weekend. You will provide high-quality nursing care, coordinate with physicians, and support residents’ independence and comfort.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with an active, unencumbered state license.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans.
• Supervises staff and oversees patient care in accordance with standards of care and regulations.
• Supervises CNAs during shifts, including assigning work, performance management, and training.
• Monitor residents' conditions, assess symptoms, and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care.
• Educate residents and families about health conditions and care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.

Major Responsibilities

• Supervises Certified Nursing Assistants during shifts, including assigning and distributing work, performance management, training new staff, and ensuring work performed in accordance to facility standards.
• Monitor residents' conditions, assess symptoms, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best care for residents.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care.
• Educate residents and families about health conditions and care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all residents.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with an active, unencumbered state license.
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a passion for patient-centered care.
• Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing resident needs.
