Job summary

Genesis HealthCare in Romney, WV is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time evening shifts. You will provide comprehensive patient care, perform nursing assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with the care team to develop and adjust plans of care.

Ideal candidates are licensed RNs, CPR certified, with strong communication skills and a commitment to quality, safety, and compassionate resident care. Varying shift lengths and supportive team environment offered.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing and licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and collaborate with the nursing team, other disciplines, patients, and families to develop effective plans of care.
• Establish realistic, measurable short- and long-term patient goals with interventions to minimize rehospitalizations and evaluate outcomes.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
• Delegate patient care responsibilities to staff and supervise them to ensure tasks are implemented.
• Communicate patient information with assigned staff and between shifts.

Responsibilities

Change the lives of our patients/residents and at the same time enjoy the rewards of fully knowing your patients/residents and their families as a Registered Nurse - RN. You will provide care for a variety of patients/residents with an array of complex diagnoses leading to enhanced knowledge and skills in many different areas.

Posted Salary Range

USD $37.00 - USD $40.00 /Hr.
