Job summary

Genesis HealthCare, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, patient-centered care for our residents in a long-term care setting. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to support quality outcomes in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

You will work with the nursing team, coordinate with families, administer medications and supervise care delivery while upholding our commitment to growth, development and advancement for our staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
• CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and collaborate with the nursing team, other disciplines, patients, and families to develop effective plans of care.
• Establish realistic, measurable short- and long-term patient goals with interventions to minimize rehospitalizations and evaluate outcomes.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
• Delegate patient care responsibilities to staff and supervise them to ensure tasks are implemented.
• Communicate patient information with assigned staff between shifts.

Responsibilities

You will provide care for a variety of patients/residents with an array of complex diagnoses leading to enhanced knowledge and skills in many different areas.

Position Highlights

Posted Salary Range

USD $36.00 - USD $39.00 /Hr.
