Job summary

Crestwood Behavioral Health in California is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care to clients under physician orders within established standards. You will supervise non-licensed staff and help run the unit with a commitment to compassionate care.

The role requires current California RN licensure, CPR/First Aid, and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. This is a full-time day and evening position with on-call shifts and opportunities for

Qualifications

• Current licensure in California as a RN.
• Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
• Ability to supervise.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members.
• Previous experience in mental health nursing preferred.
• Current CPR and first aid certifications.

About the Campus: Our Skilled Nursing Facility is just minutes from the freeway, conveniently located by many shops and restaurants. As Neuro-behavioral campus we are less medically acute and as such there are great opportunities for clients. For example, Crestwood Wellness & Recovery Center has adopted the city park next to our building. Our clients actively pursue their gardening skills and creative beautification inspirations by maintaining and adding to the garden beds created on Earth Day 2009. The efforts have created a space for quiet and serenity as well. Weather permitting, staff often take clients to the park for group therapy, meditation, and yoga.

The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay per hour at the time of posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to candidate's skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity.

Pay Range:

$36 - $36 USD
