Job summary

PrincetonNursingandRehabilitation is seeking a dedicated RN for part-time night shifts in Princeton, KY. You will provide bedside care, administer medications, and collaborate with a compassionate team to support residents.

Qualifications

• Current RN license.
• At least one year of RN experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients.
• Prepares and administers medications and records accurately.
• Records patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Responds to life-saving situations following nursing standards and protocol.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains accurate documentation and timely charting.

RN Responsibilities

• Has a contagious and positive work ethic, inspires others, and models the behaviors of Genuine, Caring, and Friendly.
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication that is clear, well-organized, and demonstrates an understanding of audience needs.
• Utilizes genuine and positive communication to make each patient feel informed, understood, and special.
• Consults and coordinates with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications.
• Records patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays.
• Provides bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients.
• Changes dressings, inserts catheters, starts IVs
• Prepares equipment and aids physician during examination and treatment of patient
• Responds to life-saving situations based upon nursing standards and protocol
• Records all care information concisely, accurately, and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format, and on the appropriate forms.
• Performs other position-related duties as assigned, depending on the assignment setting

RN Requirements

• Current RN license.
• At least one year of experience as an RN in a long-term care setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of Matrixcare is preferred.
