Princeton Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated LPN or RN for a full-time night shift (6p-6a). You will provide bedside care, coordinate with the healthcare team, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document care promptly.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license valid for practice.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• CPR certification up-to-date and active.

Responsibilities

• Provides bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients.

• Monitors vital signs and records data accurately.
• Collaborates with healthcare team to plan and evaluate patient care.

LPN/RN Responsibilities

• Has a contagious and positive work ethic, inspires others, and models the behaviors of Genuine, Caring, and Friendly.
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication that is clear, well-organized, and demonstrates an understanding of audience needs.
• Utilizes genuine and positive communication to make each patient feel informed, understood, and special.
• Consults and coordinates with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans
• Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications.
• Records patients medical information and vital signs.
• Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays.
• Provides bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients.
• Changes dressings, insert catheters, starts IVs
• Prepares equipment and aids physician during examination and treatment of patient
• Responds to life-saving situations based upon nursing standards and protocol
• Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format, and on the appropriate forms.
• Performs other position-related duties as assigned, depending on the assignment setting

LPN/RN Requirements

• Current RN or LPN license.
• Up-to-date first aid and CPR certification.
• At least one year of experience as an RN or LPN in a long-term care setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of Matrixcare is preferred.
