Job summary

The RN position at Monarch Healthcare Management is a part-time role for weekdays during business hours at our Minnesota facility.

The RN will supervise tenant care, assess needs, develop plans of care, and oversee CNAs and nursing staff to ensure the highest quality of care in compliance with Minnesota BON standards and the campus QAPI program. This role emphasizes data-driven assessments and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Completion of a professional nursing education program approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
• Current Minnesota Registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• The RN manages and supervises tenant care ensuring quality in accordance with Minnesota BON standards.
• Oversees practical nurses, CNAs and nursing personnel and clarifies expectations.
• Develops a detailed Plan of Care and monitors safety and well-being of tenants.
• Conducts assessments to establish baseline health status and coordinates care with the team.

Description

The RN manages and supervises tenant care ensuring the highest quality of care is received in accordance with the Minnesota BON standards, is guided by the Tenants’ Bill of Rights and abides by the campus Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program. Through the collection and analysis of data, the RN is accountable for performing a comprehensive assessment to establish the baseline health status of tenants as well as to create a detailed Plan of Care that includes individual needs and preferences. RNs oversee practical nurses, CNAs and nursing personnel through assessment of their knowledge, skill and capabilities; clarifying expectations and addressing behaviors to ensure the safety of tenants and to attain the ultimate goal of achieving and maintaining the highest practicable physical, mental and psychosocial well-being of each tenant.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a professional nursing education program approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing
• Current Minnesota Registration as a Registered Nurse
• Current Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and emergency care
