Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management in Minnesota is seeking an RN to manage tenant care during business hours, weekdays only, part-time. The RN ensures compliance with Minnesota BON standards and leads care planning and supervision.

The role requires completing a MN nursing program, holding MN RN license, CPR certification. The RN oversees LPNs, CNAs, and nursing staff to maintain the highest practicable well-being of tenants.

Qualifications

• Completion of a professional nursing education program approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
• Current Minnesota Registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Current Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and emergency care.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise tenant care to ensure the highest quality of care in accordance with Minnesota BON standards.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to establish baseline health status and create detailed Plans of Care.
• Oversee practical nurses, CNAs and nursing personnel, clarifying expectations and ensuring safety.

Description

The RN manages and supervises tenant care ensuring the highest quality of care is received in accordance with the Minnesota BON standards, is guided by the Tenants’ Bill of Rights and abides by the campus Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program. Through the collection and analysis of data, the RN is accountable for performing a comprehensive assessment to establish the baseline health status of tenants as well as to create a detailed Plan of Care that includes individual needs and preferences. RNs oversee practical nurses, CNAs and nursing personnel through assessment of their knowledge, skill and capabilities; clarifying expectations and addressing behaviors to ensure the safety of tenants and to attain the ultimate goal of achieving and maintaining the highest practicable physical, mental and psychosocial well-being of each tenant.
