Smoky Mountain Health & Rehabilitation Center in Pigeon Forge, TN is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN positions with day, evening, and night shifts are available, with 12-hour shifts and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time RNs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing program.
• Current, active Tennessee RN license.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Leadership abilities and a commitment to quality resident care.
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented approach to nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in accordance with individualized resident care plans.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor residents for changes in condition.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions safely and accurately according to physician orders.
• Coordinate nursing care to promote resident safety, comfort, and positive clinical outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Follow infection control practices and nursing standards.

RN Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse at Smoky Mountain Health & Rehabilitation Center, you will:

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in accordance with individualized resident care plans.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor residents for changes in condition.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions safely and accurately according to physician orders.
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in resident condition, communicating with physicians and appropriate healthcare providers.
• Provide clinical guidance, supervision, and support to LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff as appropriate.
• Coordinate nursing care to promote resident safety, comfort, and positive clinical outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Follow infection control practices, safety procedures, nursing standards, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Promote a positive, respectful, and resident-centered nursing environment.
