Smoky Mountain Health & Rehabilitation Center in Pigeon Forge, TN is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team on full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules. We offer day, evening, and night shifts, 12-hour shifts, and a new wage structure with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time LPNs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Practical Nursing program.
• Current Tennessee LPN license.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately as ordered.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and communicate concerns to the team.
• Collect and document resident health information and contribute to care planning.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide guidance and supervision to nursing assistants as appropriate.
• Follow infection control, safety procedures, and regulations.

LPN Responsibilities

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Smoky Mountain Health & Rehabilitation Center, you will:

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in accordance with individualized resident care plans and within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately as ordered.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly communicate concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Collect and document resident health information and contribute to nursing assessments and care planning within your scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide guidance, supervision, and support to nursing assistants as appropriate.
• Follow infection control practices, safety procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and resident-centered care environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Practical Nursing program.
• Current, active Tennessee Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented approach to nursing.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, resident-centered care.
