Job summary

Aliya Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality care to residents in our skilled nursing facility on PM & Overnight shifts. You will oversee staff, delegate tasks, and ensure adherence to facility policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include developing individualized care plans with the health team, administering medications, educating residents and families, and acting as a charge nurse when needed.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program.
• Active Illinois RN license.
• No history of abuse convictions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow facility policies and support quality care.
• Must be able to work with residents of varying ages and medical needs.
• Must meet physical job requirements including lifting, bending, and standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents on assigned unit during scheduled shift.
• Collaborate with allied health team to develop and implement care plans.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per policy and evaluate effectiveness.
• Maintain an environment that supports residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Educate residents and families about care plans, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor team performance and support staff development, evaluations, and corrective actions.
• Assign and oversee nursing duties to ensure tasks are completed appropriately.
• Act as a charge nurse and provide clinical guidance to staff.
• Follow all facility and departmental safety protocols.

• Follow all facility and departmental safety protocols

Skills And Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program
