Job summary

Aliya Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality care to residents in our skilled nursing facility. You will provide total care for residents on your assigned unit and collaborate with a professional team to develop individualized care plans.

You will administer prescribed medications, educate residents and families about treatments, and monitor staff performance while maintaining a safe, supportive environment for all residents.

Qualifications

• Total nursing care for residents during assigned shift as an RN.
• Active Illinois RN license required.
• No history of abuse convictions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow facility policies and support quality care.
• Must be able to work with residents of varying ages and conditions.
• Physical requirements include lifting, bending, and standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents on assigned unit during scheduled shift as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Collaborate with allied health team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments and evaluate effectiveness
• Maintain an environment supporting residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being
• Educate residents and families about care plans, treatments, and procedures
• Monitor team performance and support staff development, evaluations, and corrective actions
• Assign and oversee nursing duties to ensure tasks are completed appropriately
• Stay current on facility procedures and participate in in-service and continuing education
• Identify and respond to significant changes in residents’ conditions
• Document care provided and changes in condition per guidelines
• Act as a charge nurse and resource for staff
• Follow all facility and departmental safety protocols

Skills and Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois
• No history of abuse convictions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to follow facility policies and support quality care
• Must be able to work effectively with residents of varying ages and medical needs
• Must meet physical job requirements, including occasional lifting, bending, and standing
