Aliya Healthcare in Palatine seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide total nursing care on the assigned unit, oversee staff, and ensure adherence to facility policies. The role emphasizes collaboration with the health team and delivering high-quality resident care.

The RN will administer medications, educate residents and families, and participate in ongoing professional growth within a supportive team environment in Palatine.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents on assigned unit during scheduled shift.
• Collaborate with allied health team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments and evaluate effectiveness.
• Maintain an environment supporting residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Educate residents and families about care plans, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor team performance and support staff development and evaluations.
• Assign and oversee nursing duties to ensure tasks are completed.
• Stay current on facility procedures and participate in ongoing education.
• Identify and respond to significant changes in residents’ conditions.
• Document care provided, changes in condition, and relevant information per guidelines.
• Act as charge nurse and provide clinical support to staff.
• Follow all facility and departmental safety protocols.

• Assign and oversee nursing duties to ensure tasks are completed appropriately and efficiently
• Stay current on facility procedures and participate in in-service and continuing education
• Identify and respond to significant changes in residents' conditions
• Accurately document care provided, changes in condition, and other relevant information per facility guidelines
• Act as a charge nurse and serve as a resource for staff, offering clinical support and decision‑making guidance
• Follow all facility and departmental safety protocols

Skills and Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois
• No history of abuse convictions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to follow facility policies and support quality care
• Must be able to work effectively with residents of varying ages and medical needs
• Must meet physical job requirements, including occasional lifting, bending, and standing
