Job summary

Stonecreek Health and Rehabilitation in Paducah, KY, is hiring full-time Registered Nurses for day and night shifts in our 90-bed facility. We offer a $7,500 sign-on bonus for full-time new hires and a culture of excellence.

RN core responsibilities include coordinating with the healthcare team, administering medications, monitoring vitals, managing IVs, and participating in discharge planning. We provide comprehensive benefits, shift differentials, DailyPay, and opportunities for tuition

Qualifications

• RN license required in the state where employed.
• At least 1 year of RN experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consults with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administers medications as prescribed and records reactions.
• Records patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitors equipment and interprets electronic displays.
• Initiates corrective actions for adverse symptoms.
• Provides bedside care for a variety of medical patients.
• Changes dressings, inserts catheters, starts IVs.
• Aids physician during examination and treatment.
• Participates in discharge planning.
• Maintains time management and accurate documentation.

RN Core Responsibilities:

• Consults and coordinates with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans

• Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications. Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse.

• Records patients' medical information and vital signs.

• Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays.

• Initiates corrective action whenever the patient displays adverse symptomatology

• Provides bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients.

• Changes dressings, inserts catheters, starts IVs

• Prepares equipment and aids physician during examination and treatment of patient

• Responds to life-saving situations based upon nursing standards and protocol

• Participates in discharge planning.

• Utilizes time management skills.

• Records all care information concisely, accurately, and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format, and on the appropriate forms.

• Performs other position-related duties as assigned, depending on assignment setting

RN Requirements:

• Current RN license in state.

• At least one year of RN experience in a long-term Care Setting is preferred.
