Essential Responsibilities: Utilize nursing knowledge and skills to deliver safe, preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative care to patients, ensuring positive patient outcomes as evidenced by documentation and observation. Collect and document patient health status and medical history, completing or reviewing the Admission Data Record as per policy. Perform ongoing assessment of patient status and respond appropriately, maintaining accurate documentation. Perform delegated independent nursing functions in accordance with established procedures, policies, and standards as observed by the supervising RN. Accurately administer medications, monitor patient response, and document findings in the medical record. Maintain open and clear communication among patients, staff, and physicians. Transcribe physician orders accurately and according to policy and procedure. Provide direct patient care.
