Job summary

Nortonville Health Care Center in Nortonville, KS is seeking a Registered Nurse to care for our residents, assess health needs, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and support families.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license, has at least one year of RN experience, and demonstrates strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking to coordinate patient care with the health team.

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered RN license in the state
• At least 1 year RN experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ health needs and develop and implement care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate staff member
• Communicate with patients and families to provide education and support
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment
• Document patients’ progress and outcomes using electronic medical records
• Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in nursing
• Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain and improve skills
• Other duties as assigned
