Job summary

Union Plaza Care Center in Queens, NY is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to join our nursing team.

As an RN, you will provide high-quality resident care, supervise staff, administer medications, and collaborate with the DON, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in NY state.
• Minimum 2 years SNF experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Pay Rate: $52–$53 per hour

Union Plaza Care Center is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our exceptional nursing team.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care while ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of residents
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing (DON), Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality care
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to maintain excellence in resident care
• Administer medications and treatments accurately in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
• Assess resident conditions, monitor changes, and respond promptly to medical needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and team members
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges while ensuring continuity of care
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and resident-centered environment
• Ensure compliance with all infection control, safety, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York
• Minimum of 2 years of Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
