Job summary

MediLodge of Marshall is seeking an RN to plan, coordinate, and provide total nursing care for residents at our Marshall facility. You will supervise clinical staff, administer medications, and ensure accurate documentation while delivering patient‑centered care.

Starting wages range from $47.40 to $60.90 per hour, with a $5,000 sign‑on bonus for full‑time staff. Opportunities for growth and daily to bi‑weekly pay options are available.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
  • Valid RN license in the state of employment.
  • CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, coordinates, and provides total nursing care for residents.
  • Supervises and guides clinical staff (LPNs, LVNs, CNAs).
  • Administers medications, starts IVs, and documents care.
  • Implements physician orders accurately and promptly.
  • Participates in orientation and in-service training for staff.
  • Interacts with residents and families to ensure quality care.

Summary

The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides total nursing care for residents and provides supervision and guidance to clinical staff members.

Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
  • Licenses/Certification:
    • Valid RN license in the state of employment.
    • Valid CPR certification.
  • Experience: One year of nursing experience preferred.
  • Job Functions:
    • Initiates and leads team conferences in development of individualized nursing care plans.
    • Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs.
    • Accurately and promptly implements physician orders.
    • Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with resident needs and staff qualifications.
    • Supervises, directs, and evaluates LPNs, LVNs, and CNAs.
    • Administers medications, starts IVs, and performs treatments for assigned residents, documenting as required by company, local, state, and federal rules.
    • Participates in orientation and in‑service training for personnel.
    • Assists physicians with special tests and procedures within the scope of state‑specified Nursing Practice Act.
    • Ensures supplies are utilized economically and equipment is clean and maintained safely.
    • Records pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents.
    • Coordinates nursing care of residents when scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments.
    • Interviews applicants and recommends hires; participates in counseling, disciplinary action, and termination of staff to extent permitted by state practice act.
    • Supervises nursing unit, including scheduling and directing the nursing staff to extent permitted by state practice act.
    • Performs other tasks as assigned.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Skilled in directing and motivating the workforce.
    • Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team.
    • Effective communication with residents, families, and all levels of the organization.
    • Decisive and quick reaction in emergency situations.
    • Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff.
    • Maintains confidentiality.
