Job summary

Interim HealthCare is actively seeking Registered Nurses (RN) in South Dakota to provide compassionate, high-quality care in long-term care and assisted living settings. RNs will assess patients, report changes to physicians, and administer medications, with options for PRN, part-time and full-time contracts across flexible shift schedules.

Eligible candidates hold an SD RN license (or reciprocity), maintain required certifications, and have strong clinical skills.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license within South Dakota, or reciprocity/multi-state eligibility
• Maintains required certification/qualifications and associated standards
• Registered Nurse (RN) experience highly preferred
• Must be 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• PRN and/or Contract Staffing in Long-Term Care Facilities, and/or Assisted Living Settings
• Examine patients, conduct assessments, document condition and report changes to physician
• Review, interpret, transcribe and carry out physician orders for patients
• Administer medication, operate medical equipment and maintain a safe environment
• Check vitals
• Observe patient for issues requiring a change in care, medication or medical equipment

Education

Active Registered Nurse license South Dakota or reciprocity

Must be 18 years of age

• Shift options of DAYS / EVES / NOC, 8 HOUR SHIFTS / 10 HOUR SHIFTS / 12 HOUR SHIFTS
• 24/7 contact with on-call staff member within Interim HealthCare
• Health Insurance (1 year full-time status and other stipulations apply)
