Job summary

Aviata at Kissimmee Gardens is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Kissimmee, Florida. You will provide direct patient care, supervise staff, and oversee resident care in accordance with standards.

We offer full-time and part-time roles on 7a-7p shifts, a supportive team environment, health benefits for families, and a bi-weekly bonus program. A valid RN license and SNF experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an RN.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation facilities preferred.
• You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and oversee patient care in accordance with standards of care and practice and applicable state/federal regulations.
• Provide direct restorative care, restorative dining, splints, ADL’s, bowel and bladder management, passive and active range of motion, ambulation and transfers.
• Encourage residents to participate in their assigned programs by providing verbal cueing, one on one, and safety precautions.
• Maintain documentation on each resident participating in Restorative Program and notify management of any resident changes.
• Follow established facility policies and procedures while providing and coordinating resident care with other facility personnel.
• Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants during shift, including assigning and distributing work, performance management, training new staff, and ensuring work is being performed according to facility standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
