Job summary

Signature HealthCARE in Johnson City, TN is seeking a seasoned RN to join our team. We offer opportunities for experienced RNs and new grads alike to deliver high-quality care in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

Responsibilities include direct nursing care, supervision of nursing staff, medication administration, and maintaining comprehensive clinical documentation. A sign-on bonus is available and our benefits package supports health, wealth, and well-being.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role, preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Knowledge of Federal and State long-term care regulations.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ensure comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.
• Supervise and direct nursing assistants and medication aides during the assigned shift in accordance with facility policies and regulations.
• Monitor and observe residents’ physical and emotional status; notify the attending physician and responsible party of any change in condition.
• Develop, implement, and review individualized resident care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation per facility policy and procedure.
• Coordinate resident admissions, transfers, and discharges according to established procedures.
• Participate in quality assurance activities, staff education, and regulatory surveys as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or designee.
