Job summary

Cor Healthcare Partners is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time and part-time positions in Hiawatha, Iowa. The role includes providing skilled nursing care, developing individualized care plans, and coordinating resident appointments.

In addition to competitive compensation starting at $43 per hour, nurses will receive benefits including health insurance and a 401(k) plan. The working schedule includes every other weekend, with opportunities for both day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current Iowa RN license and BLS/CPR certification.
• Previous RN experience preferred with strong clinical assessment skills.
• Able to supervise and support nursing staff effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care and clinical oversight as an RN.
• Assess resident conditions and respond to health status changes.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Communicate with residents, family members, and team members.
• Oversee resident admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Support infection control and resident safety initiatives.

• Full-Time Days (6AM - 6PM) | Including Every Other Weekend
• Full-Time Nights (6PM - 6AM) | Including Every Other Weekend
• Part-Time Nights (6PM - 10PM) | Including Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care and clinical oversight as an RN
• Assess resident conditions and respond appropriately to changes in health status
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
• Communicate with residents, family members, providers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Order medications and coordinate resident healthcare needs
• Oversee resident admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Coordinate resident appointments and transportation arrangements as needed
• Supervise, support, and mentor Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
• Ensure documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with regulations
• Support infection control, quality assurance, and resident safety initiatives
• Promote a positive team culture through leadership, accountability, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Current Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS/CPR Certification
• Previous RN experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to effectively supervise and support nursing staff
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to adapt to changing resident needs and priorities
• RN candidates must have completed or be willing to complete the Long-Term Care Supervisors Course, if required by state regulations
