Job summary

Montgomery Subacute is seeking an experienced RN to deliver skilled nursing care in a 60-bed sub-acute setting. The role emphasizes resident-centered care, ongoing assessments, and collaboration with the care team to uphold high standards.

Starting pay ranges from $37 to $46 per hour, with daily pay options and full-time, part-time, or PRN opportunities. PA licensing, CPR/BLS, and strong documentation skills are required.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license to practice in Pennsylvania.
• Valid BLS/CPR certification required.
• Ability to care for multiple residents in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care per plans and physician orders.
• Follow care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Administer medications and treatments per plan of care.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation per policies and standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for quality care.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance.

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN)

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).
• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN)

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
