Job summary

Marcella Post Acute in Virginia is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver skilled clinical care and monitor resident conditions. You will ensure care plans are followed and individualized to each resident's needs.

The role offers day, evening, or night shifts with full-time and part-time opportunities, shift differentials, and same-day pay. Join a compassionate, value-driven team focused on dignity and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in Virginia.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care in accordance with nursing practice standards and the physician’s plan of treatment and written care plan.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments per plan of care.
• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions and report changes promptly to the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per physician orders and policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and nursing regulations.

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).
• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):
