Job summary

Marcella Post Acute is seeking an RN to deliver skilled clinical care and monitor resident conditions in a compassionate, resident-centered environment. This facility, proudly supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services, offers full-time and part-time positions with day, evening, or night shifts.

VA RN licensure and BLS are required, along with the ability to manage multiple residents and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in Virginia.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).
• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.
