Job summary

Aliya Healthcare in Glenwood, IL seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver comprehensive care for residents on the assigned unit. You will oversee staff, delegate tasks, and ensure adherence to facility policies and procedures.

The RN will collaborate with the health team to implement individualized care plans, administer medications, educate residents and families, and serve as a resource for clinical guidance. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program.
• Active RN license in Illinois.
• No history of abuse convictions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow facility policies and support quality care.
• Must be able to work with residents of varying ages and medical needs.
• Must meet physical job requirements, including lifting, bending, and standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents on the assigned unit during the scheduled shift.
• Collaborate with allied health team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments and evaluate effectiveness.
• Maintain an environment supporting residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Educate residents and families about care plans and procedures.
• Monitor team performance and support staff development and evaluations as needed.
• Assign and oversee nursing duties to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Stay current on facility procedures and participate in in-service training.
• Identify and respond to significant changes in residents' conditions.
• Document care provided and changes in condition per guidelines.
• Act as charge nurse and provide clinical support to staff.

• Assign and oversee nursing duties to ensure tasks are completed appropriately and efficiently
• Stay current on facility procedures and participate in in-service and continuing education
• Identify and respond to significant changes in residents' conditions
• Accurately document care provided, changes in condition, and other relevant information per facility guidelines
• Act as a charge nurse and serve as a resource for staff, offering clinical support and decision-making guidance
• Follow all facility and departmental safety protocols

Skills and Qualifications
