Job summary

The Jewish Home for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver skilled clinical care across shifts, monitor resident conditions, and ensure care plans are followed.

Join a 150-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care facility that values compassionate care, teamwork, and professional growth. We offer full-time, part-time, and per diem roles with shift differentials and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey (RN licensure).
• Valid BLS CPR certification.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care in accordance with nursing standards and the physician's plan of treatment and written care plan.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Administer medications and treatments per the plan of care.
• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions and promptly report changes to the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per physician orders and facility policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Shifts:

7 AM–3 PM | 3 PM–11 PM | 11 PM–7 AM
PRN: Any 8-Hr Shift (1 Weekend/Month)

$40–$44/hr. (all-inclusive Based on years of experience, status, if PIB and shift diff is applicable)

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.

• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.

• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).

• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.

• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of New Jersey.

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.

• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
