Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee resident care in Minnesota facilities. The RN will assess residents, develop care plans, and supervise staff to ensure high-quality, person-centered care in compliance with state standards.

The role involves direct nursing tasks such as IV therapy and PICC line care, documentation, safety, and disaster/emergency procedures, while upholding HIPAA and infection-control practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in skilled nursing or assisted living settings preferred.
• Licensure as a Minnesota Registered Nurse is required.
• CPR certification and emergency care credentials current.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise resident care per MN Board standards and the Residents' Bill of Rights.
• Develop individualized care plans and oversee implementation of nursing interventions.
• Provide direct nursing services including IV therapy and PICC line care.
• Document accurately, ensure safety, HIPAA compliance and infection control.
• Supervise nursing staff, ensure adequate staffing and participate in emergency drills.

Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Summary

The RN manages and supervises resident care in alignment with Minnesota Board of Nursing standards, the Residents’ Bill of Rights, and the facility’s QAPI program, ensuring each resident receives the highest quality of person-centered care. The role conducts comprehensive health assessments, develops individualized care plans, and oversees the implementation of nursing interventions while continuously evaluating outcomes. The RN provides direct and specialized nursing services including IV therapy, PICC line care, and resident education. All while maintaining strict adherence to scope-of-practice guidelines, safety protocols, HIPAA, and infection control standards. Additional responsibilities include accurate documentation, maintaining a safe environment, supervising and supporting nursing staff, ensuring adequate staffing, managing incidents, and participating in emergency and disaster procedures to promote residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a professional nursing education program approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing
• Current Minnesota Registration as a Registered Nurse
• Current Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and emergency care
• Experience in skilled nursing and/or assisted living facilities
