Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse for a correctional facility in Delano, CA. This full-time role offers 8-hour shifts across days, evenings, and nights, with paychecks every Friday.

You will monitor patients, communicate findings to physicians, collaborate on care plans, perform routine procedures, adjust medications, provide emergency care, and supervise LVNs and aides. Must have at least 1 year RN experience, active RN license, BLS, and a clean background; assignments start

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year RN experience within the last 3 years.
• Must have a current and active RN license.
• Must have a current and active BLS from American Heart Association.
• Clean background.
• Full-time position.
• Ongoing Assignment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient’s condition and assess needs to provide the best possible care.
• Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
• Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patient’s charts.
• Adjust and administer patient’s medication(s) and provide treatments according to the physician’s orders.
• Provide instant medical care in emergencies.
• Supervise and train LVN's and nursing assistants.
• Expand their knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.

• 6am to 2pm
