North Shore Health is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join River's Bend Health Services. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care, assess and implement plans, and supervise nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident-centered care.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, CPR certification, and a passion for elder care. New graduates are welcome with training and support provided in a collaborative environment.

Summary of Position:

Under the supervision of the Unit Manager/ADON/DON, the RN assumesresponsibility and accountability for a group of residents/patients for a shift of duty. Nursing care isprovided through assessment, implementations, and evaluation of the plan of care. The RN adheres to thestandards of care for the area, manages the environment to maintain resident/patient safety, and supervisesthe resident/patient care activity performance by nursing assistants and helpers. Follows all North Shore’spolicies and procedures. Performs duties as defined by the State Nurse Practice Act. Follows whereapplicable JCAHO standards.

Who We’re Looking For

• An RN with an active license and a heart for elder care
• Someone who values teamwork, accountability, and pride in their work
• Must have and maintain current CPR certification
• Able to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.).
• Able to calculate drug dosage
• Meets all health requirements imposed by law
• Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other center staff
• Able to read, write, speak and understand English
• Demonstrated basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications
• Skilled nursing experience preferred—but passion and attitude matter most
• New graduates welcome with training and support provided
