Job summary

Community Hospital Corporation in Charlotte, North Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver direct and indirect patient care for adults and geriatric populations. The RN will supervise shift-based nursing activities and coordinate with LPNs and CNAs to ensure safe, compassionate care.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of nursing experience (preferred) and hold a current RN license; BLS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN license preferred.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients aged 18 through geriatric.
• Direct and supervise patient care during the shift.
• Delegate tasks to LPNs, CNAs and other patient care team members as appropriate.
• Promote teamwork with physicians and other departments.
• Consider patient age in the performance of any task.

Job description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect nursing care of all patients ranging in age from 18 years to geriatric. He/she is also responsible for the overall direction and supervision of all patient care during his/her shift. Demonstrates the knowledge and skill to carry out the nursing process when providing care to patients. Satisfies the established standards of the nursing practice. Supervises and delegates patient care tasks to LPN, CNA and other patient care team members. Promotes teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments. As appropriate, takes into consideration the patients’ age in the performance of any task.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $44.00 per hour
