Job summary

Always Best Care Private Nursing seeks an experienced RN for per-diem home health in the Greater Boston area. The RN will assess patients, develop and update care plans, administer medications, and supervise aides under the direction of the Director of Private Nursing.

Responsibilities include coordinating with a care team to implement personalized plans, evaluating patient status, and ensuring safe, effective nursing interventions. Must hold MA RN license and BLS.

Per-Diem RN - Greater Boston/Boston, MA
Always Best Care Private Nursing is seeking an experienced RN to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of one-to-one patient care, all in the comfort of the client’s home. This role requires someone who demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner under the direction of the Director of Private Nursing.

Role and Responsibilities:

RNs are responsible for comprehensive patient assessments, developing and updating care plans, administering medications, performing skilled tasks like wound care, and providing patient and family education. They supervise CNAs, QMAPs, and non-certified personnel.

Responsibilities include:

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.

• Performs thorough patient assessments and identifies changes in condition.

• Collaborates with a care team to develop and execute personalized care plans using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions.

• Performs interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and the patient care outcome standard.

• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.

• Demonstrates proficiency in administering medications safely and accurately.

• Communicates with the Director of Nursing in order to revise the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.

• Other RN duties as assigned depending on the case.

Requirements

• Current Nurse License for the state of Massachusetts.

• Current BLS card.

• Medical surgical care and critical care experience preferred.

• Access to reliable form of transportation.
