Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare is seeking Registered Nurses to join as 1099 Independent Contractors, delivering compassionate, holistic in-home care to patients in their homes across the community.

RNs will perform thorough assessments, administer medications, educate families, and coordinate with Case Managers. A valid RN license, BLS, and willingness to travel are required; malpractice insurance is also needed.

Qualifications

  • Active RN license in the state of practice.
  • Willingness to travel to patients' homes.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Ability to pass a state and federal background check.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments to deliver personalized, comprehensive in-home care.
  • Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) with dignity.
  • Coordinate scheduling with patients per plan of care and preferences.
  • Monitor patient symptoms and report changes promptly to the care team.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
  • Communicate with Case Managers and collaborating physicians to ensure unified care.
  • Maintain accurate patient logs in the EMR system.

Responsibilities
  • Be a Pillar of Support:You'll conduct thorough assessments, ensuring each patient receives personalized, comprehensive care.
  • Empower Through Education:Guide and educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention, empowering them to live healthier, more fulfilling lives.
  • Compassionate Assistance:Provide gentle assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed, always with dignity and respect.
  • Harmonize Care:Coordinate your schedule directly with patients, aligning with their plan of care, approved hours, and personal preferences, ensuring their comfort and convenience.
  • Vigilant Advocate:Monitor and promptly report any changes in patient symptoms or behavior, acting as a crucial link in their well-being.
  • Healing Hands:Administer medications and treatments with precision and care, as prescribed by their treating physician.
  • Collaborative Spirit:Communicate seamlessly with Case Managers and collaborating physicians or specialists, ensuring a unified approach to patient care.

Your Voice Matters (Communication):

  • Prepare and provide clear, compassionate clinical notes and charting that tell the patient's story.
Qualifications
  • A valid and active RN License in the state of practice.
  • A willingness to travel, bringing care directly to patients' homes.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current BLSCertification.
  • Ability to pass a state & federal background check, ensuring trust and safety.
  • Malpractice Insurance is required.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, coupled with a warm, empathetic approach.
Pay Range

USD $38.00 - USD $42.00 /Hr.
