Job summary

Cedar Crest Post Acute is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our compassionate care team in Allentown, PA. This facility offers a supportive environment with daily pay options and a commitment to resident dignity and high-quality nursing care.

Responsibilities include administering medications, following care plans, documenting care, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure timely, patient-centered services. A PA RN license and BLS CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania RN license required.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care in accordance with standards and the plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans.
• Perform medication administration and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes promptly.

Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering skilled clinical care, monitoring resident conditions, and ensuring all care is provided in accordance with established standards and individualized care plans.

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.

• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.

• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).

• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.

• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of Pennsylvania.

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.

• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
