Job summary

Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA is hiring Registered Nurses for the Resource Pool, Intermediate Care and Medical/Surgical units. A generous sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Full-time Night shifts and Part-time Day shifts are offered, with opportunities for leadership or advancement within Sentara. Minimum requirements include a Virginia or compact multi-state license, BLS, and an RN qualification (Diploma/ASN/BSN/MSN) with at least 18 months of recent RN

Qualifications

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• RN-Diploma, ASN, BSN or MSN from an accredited school.
• Minimum 18 months of recent RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assessing/admitting patients.
• Rounding checks and medication administration.
• Communicating with family members about patient care.
• Providing overall care to assigned patients in Med/Surg, intermediate care, and resource pool units.
• Collaborating with the care team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
